After about 6 months of being a grad, you are ready to move into a role. And they will move you to a role at this point as it is pointless paying someone to be an extra person when they are capable of moving into a team. Grads are the head of the queue to move to an SA role. Grads don't get a lot of exposure to other parts of the bank, so moving elsewhere can be tricky but not impossible.

BNZ has well equipped office's with plenty of space, facility and in a good central location. The dress code is generally smart, but follows a dress for your day protocol.

Recruitment

Recruitment
Initial job application (cv, cover letter) -> pre-recorded video interview -> in-person interview. Asked about relevant experience. Time that I did well. Time I had feedback. Try to answer in a STAR format. The group challenges are more about seeing how you work in a team rather than the result you produce. They also want to see how you can add value, so be yourself.

Sustainability
I am dubious of anything that a bank claims, but BNZ says they invest responsibly, so I'll give them a six. I don't really see any movement in the reduction direction but mainly just investing in lower-emission companies
