Culture
People have great respect for one another, especially the leadership team. There seems to be no hierarchy as the leaders work on the same level as any other employees. Employees are encouraged to work in a setup that works for them, whether on-site or from home.

Diversity
The part of the business that I'm in is incredibly diverse, especially for engineering. The company is one of the first to get things such as the rainbow tick, is very focused on wellbeing, and has probably the best parental leave system in the country

In general, managers are really good and offer good support and mentoring. Have had a couple of great managers who have praised and encouraged me but also challenged me, which had been great for my development.

Office Work Environment
Large head office, but many are WFH so sometimes less people in office. Dress code - some people in shirts/slacks, some in t-shirts, very much depends on the day.

Training
Contact University is a great resource with short courses that cover a large range of things from site specific information, to application use, to interpersonal skills. Other, more in depth, training courses are available for specific applications or software e.g. SAP, PI Vision, Asset Framework. There are monthly learning sessions where information is shared across the company from the various generation sites. There is also the opportunity to learn lots of stuff on the job and around site from very knowledgeable people.

Work Hours

Work Hours
It depends on the type of work you are doing but the company is pretty flexible about when you start and finish each day. Hours are not tracked rigorously and there is more emphasis on completing work. There is the flexibility to shuffle work hours around other commitments if needed.
