We have seasonal roles in the stunning Hawke’s Bay where you can enjoy plenty of sunshine, beach life and some pretty spectacular wineries while you do the mahi.

‍The work

Thinning is removing small apples in a bunch to give the rest space to reach apple perfection. You’ll be trained and supported as you learn the ropes by one of our orchard legends. You’ll be working in one of our diverse teams and we know you’ll be made to feel welcome from day one.
This is an opportunity for you to work full-time from 7 November until 18 December.

About you

  • You’re enthusiastic, reliable and someone who acts with integrity
  • Busy is your happy place and you like to get your hands dirty and keep active
  • You have reliable transport (our orchards are spread across Hawke’s Bay) with a minimum of a Learners licence
  • You have the right to work in New Zealand and can pass pre-employment checks

‍What we offer

  • A great team who recognises we are stronger together
  • Recognition when you do a great job
  • Competitive hourly rate of $22.10
  • Available backpacker accommodation spaces for anyone coming into the region
  • Scholarship of $500.00 to any student returning to tertiary study in 2023 (conditions apply)
  • Referral bonus of $100 if you refer a friend who stays with us to the end of the Thinning season
  • Hosted weekend social events to bring people together, get to know each other and have fun

Interested? Then we’d love to hear from you. You know what to do – send us an application and we’ll be in touch.
