Application Process & Interviews at Mr Apple NZ

Please describe the interview process and assessments.
I have done three interviews in my time with the company - one for the position I have now and the other two were for Managers positions - both manager interviews were a process that was interesting. Both times were different and the time that followed after the interview was an experience that was not an enjoyable one. Feedback was non existing and requests and feedback that I gave afterwards, was not followed up on. This made me at the time lost within myself and feeling more disposable, rather than valued.

Can be made quite hard thorough Zambion, people lost in waiting rooms/ wrong people to approve and hard to find the forms.

short sharp and simple

I believe the process of being hired is fast but also detailed. They find people who have a good attitude and are motivated to do better to add to the team.

Can seem quite daunting I found as there is a lot of questions but if you are genuinely interested about working as an orchardist they are always hiring for people who are interested in learning I found.

I think they are very good they cover most of the areas that need to be covered , technically and business/ staff management wise .

What questions were you asked in your interviews?
This was quite some time ago and I can not recall. I remember it was uncomfortable time and nerves were out of control. Its always un-nerving been in front of a panel of upper management and having to sell yourself in the best honest way you can. Then having to remember all the technical stuff and making sure your brain and mouth are all in sync.

Do you have any specific tips and advice for candidates applying to your company? How would you recommend they best prepare?
For any interview - just be yourself - be honest, be true to the person that you are - don't try to be something that you are not, in the end, people can see through this and you end up looking like a noodle. Just have a passion for what you want to do. If you have that, then this will be shown in the way you talk and present yourself at the interview. If you have the passion, then everything else will follow.
