My on the job training has been ok, I feel because I am remote I am missing out on that in person training I would normally get.

Great mentoring from people who are genuine experts in their field, both in Australia and internationally.

They are always running lunch n learns and support you spending time doing trainings

Very good informal/mentored training, sort of left to your own devices when it comes to formal training

I am offered to pretty much learn anything I want to learn which is amazing.

The E3 training platform is awesome and I love that it's so accessible. However, I think people are dis-incentivized from taking on this training because of the pressure to be billable.

All online - however you can arrange to do other training in person.

The company recognises and does make efforts to try and help employees learn and grow through both actual work and formal training. This can include task-specific training as well as general skills.

Training opportunities are great, with access to LinkedIn learning, internal company initiatives and support for external further higher eduction (e.g. Masters degree).

e3 learnings and mentor mixed with work experience has been very good.

Great for learning programs or skills or burshing up on skills with E3 learning

Some of the compulsory courses on e3 are a bit of a drag (like cybersecurity). One of the members in my team is providing informal training courses each month which is very helpful. Also graduate lunch and learns are quite useful, especially to get insights into areas of the company which are outside what I'd normally deal with.

Admittedly on the job training has proven a little slower than I'd hoped but I think this has been solely due to starting a graduate role whilst working from home. The rest of the team have done a great job reaching out and being available to give me guidance when it's required. The formal trainings have been very helpful in this regard.

The training was good but I wished it was more face-to-face

e3 Learning is the predominant education provider for all employees of Jacobs - This allows employees to increase their knowledge in a specific field/ skill of interest, whilst prompts the desire to attend an external education facility to obtain accreditation.
