Very positive and communicative

The teamwork at Jacobs is great. I don't feel like I can't approach my seniors for help and guidance and I have received good feedback on my work which makes me feel valued.

Good hours. Very cooperative and open and friendly environment where even busy senior staff are happy to take time to provide guidance and support.

Good social aspects. Less interaction with higher titles but enough to get to know everyone.

Being a largely online based team the section lead has been amazing at bringing the team together, being very approachable and adding fun elements into our work

It's a very inclusive and welcoming culture within and outside of work and regardless of seniority, few people in the office so less social interaction and outside of work events though

Haven't worked in office so can't tell much about that. Teamwork is great and loved the work environment.

I love the culture of my local office, it is easy going and everyone gets along well. The team often hosts activities outside of office hours to help team bonding and most people get involved when such chances arise.

Most are very friendly and willing to help no matter what age and experience. An inclusive work environment.

The culture as a whole appears to be quite positive, with a lot of global focus on important aspects such as mental health, social inclusion, and work flexibility. Each specific team's culture and approach will vary, but I have enjoyed working with my team. Having casual conversations and social events helps break up the work and adds a bit more enjoyment both during and after office hours.

My company's culture is the best I have ever experienced compared to other major engineering consultancies I've been at. Everyone is always very open to chat and help out wherever possible even if they do not always have the answers to all questions. The large size of the company is a huge bonus as there's always someone who can help you out and the hierarchy is relatively flat for such a big organisation. Despite COVID-19, there have been many virtual events to keep us all engaged, such as online games, well-being sessions and coffee chats. The environment is inclusive and diverse here which is great for the sharing of ideas and collaboration amongst teams.

Office is great, however due to Covid I haven't been able to see anyone after work.

Haven't been in the office. Within my team there is a hierarchy but everyone is treated equally. Lots of opportunity for (online) socialisation within the team.

Everyone is very professional and easy to work along with.

In terms of teamwork, our team right now is very open to sharing knowledge and helping anyone who is having trouble. Socialising isn't the best after work hours as we've all been working from home/ on field because of covid and geographically, everybody lives so far from each other.
