Career Prospects at Jacobs New Zealand

Once I have completed the grad program I hope to complete my registration and then move up the ranks from there.

Clear career path. Clear and unambiguous criteria for progression through each level.

To move up I need to complete the grad program which takes two years. After that it is about setting it as an e3 priority and achieving it.

I've seen people transition from interns to seniors within the business so there is a visible opportunity for career growth

As a large company I feel that my opportunity to seek for promotion and move up the ranks is as good as it could be in the engineering field

Professional bands have been well explained, and I can also see potential for side/up stepping into other roles such as people & project management.

Allowing me to pursue a technical role.

Haven't been promoted though the career progression possibilities do seem endless

As I am still a graduate I'm not sure about the promotion possibilities but I know how to progress from a graduate

There are tasks that you must be able to complete in order to move up a band level.

Promotion possibilities are transparent and widely encouraged among the team and company.

You reap what you sow.
