Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders at Datacom Australia & New Zealand

Datacom acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands upon which we work, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging

Alongside the Indigenous Defence and Infrastructure Consortium (IDIC) Datacom have released our Reconciliation Action plan (RAP) Datacom's RAP covers Relationships, Respect and Opportunity. We value the guidance and support we have received from our
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and leaders
who have generously shared their time and insights with us,
supported our learning and helped us develop our RAP.

“Respect for people, including their history and their perspective, is a core part of our values at Datacom. It is a guiding principle for the way we interact in our own teams, with our customers and with the communities where we live and work. Respect is also the foundation for our ongoing reconciliation journey, helping us work toward meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders, collaborators and communitiesManaging Director of Tech Service Australia Alex Coates and Managing Director of Connect Staci Tomasoni

We are also extremely excited to have commissioned artwork through our partnership with Dreamtime Art Creative Consultancy who also join Datacom regularly to run Culture learning sessions.

Our partners also include the Indigenous Development Employment Program who offer ongoing mentoring and development for Datacom's Indigenous ICT Traineeship Programme and the Go Foundation who create opportunities for Indigenous young people through the delivery of Scholarship Program
