This opportunity is for a New Zealand student and recent graduate majoring in animal science, agronomy, veterinary or data science to gain experience in the start-up ecosystem and agriculture business.

In previous years the Foundation has sent interns to Johor, southern Malaysia to undertake an internship with Nutrition Technologies to gain business experience in the agritech area. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's internship with Nutrition Technologies will be held entirely virtually through remote working. If you are a tertiary student who is positive, confident, and interested in developing a career in agriculture and biotechnology, we encourage you to apply.

About Nutrition Technologies

Nutrition Technologies is a growth-stage AgriTech business, operating in Malaysia. They are pioneering the insects-as-feed industry and recycling nutrients from industrial food waste (such as pineapple pulp and palm kernel cake) into high-grade proteins and oils for the animal and aquafeed industries.
Nutrition Technologies have developed their own award-winning processes and technology and have received two rounds of seed funding to establish their pilot production facility.

More information about Nutrition Technologies can be found by visiting the company 'website
