The Arnott’s Group Story

It all started in 1865. Armed with little more than a knack for baking and an optimistic willingness to succeed, William Arnott opened his first bakery in Hunter Street, Newcastle.

And so, it continued and over the past 155 years, Arnott’s has grown to become piece of Australia’s history, an iconic Australian company with brands loved the world over. Generations of Australians have shared treasured moments by enjoying the simple pleasure of a delicious Arnott’s biscuit and a cup of tea.

The Arnott’s family legacy has infiltrated every part of the Arnott’s culture, from the red trucks that delivered biscuits across the country, to the brightly decorated Arnott’s tins and the parrot which has become a much-loved national symbol in its own right.

Inspired by this legacy and fueled by a resolute spirit to grow, the Arnott’s Group is born.

As a standalone organisation, based and run in Australia, the Arnott’s Group unites a collection of leading consumer brands connected by their purpose, to create delicious moments for consumers across the world. Employing over 2,900 people in markets across Asia Pacific, The Arnott’s Group is headquartered in Sydney, Australia with Arnott’s operations in Auckland, New Zealand and bakeries in Western Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Bekasi, Indonesia. In addition, the portfolio includes Campbell’s products in Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Japan, and manufacturing operations in Shepparton, Australia and Malaysia.

Our Graduate Program is a key component of our future leadership strategy and we are looking for brave and bold trailblazers who aspire to make an impact as the Arnott’s Group steps into a new era of standalone ownership.

As a locally based, end-to-end FMCG leader, the Arnott’s Group can offer you a unique career with ownership of challenging projects from start to finish. You'll get to work at a strategic level with our iconic brands and with leading industry experts who will support you every step of the way.

Our graduate opportunities are based in Brisbane, Sydney, Shepparton, Adelaide and Auckland.

Our 12-month graduate program offers unparalleled breadth and opportunities to create defining moments that will shape your career. Your experience will be founded in the Sydney international headquarters with a comprehensive induction into the company where we will set up with the knowledge for success. This will be followed by cross-functional rotations, all whilst having access to leaders across the company and being supported by a mentor to help you through the process. We also offer international opportunities to the strongest performers, where you can spend time working in New Zealand or any of our South-East Asian offices.

All our graduates will undertake two cross-functional rotations during the program (regardless of degree discipline). The aim of this is to immerse you in a range of operational excellence and commercial areas and ensure you have exposure and a breadth of experience to kickstart your career.

Complete an online application form

This helps us capture information about your skills, background, and experiences. We want to hear why you are the right fit for us! Make sure you check to see that you are eligible for the program and share relevant details with us as well as your motivation for applying!

Online assessments

This stage of the recruitment process helps us understand more about who you are, not just your skills but your preferred ways of working. The results from this assessment will help us work with you to build a development plan and frame the learning opportunities in the graduate program.

Video interview

The video interview is an online interview where you will record your responses to a range of questions for us to view. It allows us to get a better understanding of who you are and your communication style. We will also be looking for several competencies that we want to see in our graduates and that are important to us!

Video interview will occur week commencing Monday 28th September.

Assessment Centre and Interview

The Assessment Centre gives us the chance to meet you and an opportunity for you to interact directly with us! You will participate in a range of activities during the session, but most importantly, this is an opportunity for you to learn more about the Arnott’s Group as a company, see who you would be working with and gain a stronger understanding of what your day to day could look like at Arnott’s Group.

Assessment Centre and interviews will occur week commencing Monday 19th October.
