  • Mining, Oil & Gas

AngloGold Ashanti Australia’s two operations, Sunrise Dam and Tropicana (70%), located in Western Australia’s north-eastern goldfields, rank amongst the top 10 gold mines in Australia, jointly producing more than 700,000 ounces per annum.

In operation since 2013, Tropicana was the most significant gold discovery in Australia for a decade and is now a flagship for innovative mine design and continuous improvement. The orebody remains open at depth with an underground mine in development to complement the modern, large-scale open-cut mine.

Sunrise Dam boasts a world-class orebody, which even after more than 20 years of mining, remains open in all directions. Now solely an underground mine, Sunrise Dam is undergoing a renaissance with successful implementation of a new mining strategy and commissioning of various enhancement projects.

With an internationally-recognised track record of discovery, the company’s exploration team is delivering exciting results that have the potential to further grow production in Australia.

At AngloGold Ashanti Australia, we have your learning and development at heart. People are our business and our business is people. As future leaders of the industry, we recognise the potential you bring to the organisation.

You are not just a number - as a graduate you become a valued member of our team.
