Course structure

This 60-point, taught programme has a flexible structure, so you can structure your learning around your interests - either by selecting courses within the general areas of engineering, or refining your study to a specific field of expertise. This will not affect the outcome of your final award - you will still graduate with a PGCertEng.

You must complete four 15 point, non-project courses listed in the Master of Engineering Studies schedule. Two courses (30 points) must be from the subjects below:

A PGCertEng in Polymer Engineering is also available. This programme is tailored to those currently working in industry and is offered as a specific set of block courses over one year.
