Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements
  • Completion of Year 12 or equivalent
  • At least 12 credits at level 2 in one subject from Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Physics, Science; and
  • At least 12 credits at level 2 from one or more subjects from Classical Studies, Drama, English, Geography, Health Education, History, Art History, Media Studies, Social Studies, Te Reo Maori, Te Reo Rangatira, Business Studies, Economics, Physical Education, Calculus, Mathematics or Statistics

International student entry requirements

English language requirements
  • At least IELTS (Academic) of 5.5 overall with all bands 5 or higher; or equivalent.

In this certificate you gain a general understanding of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and academic writing skills. You need to complete 120 points, including at least 45 points at level 4 or above.
