As a Brand Manager at Unilever, I have been immersed in the exciting world of consumer-centric marketing and innovation.

I completed my bachelor’s degrees in Science (majoring in Psychology) and Commerce (majoring in Marketing) at the University of Sydney. Currently, I am a Brand Manager in the Ice Cream team at Unilever, where I am responsible for overseeing both Weis and Paddle Pop.

My initial rotation within the Unilever Future Leaders Program (UFLP) was in the Hair Care Team, where I started as an Assistant Brand Manager for TRESemmé. This was an incredibly rewarding first rotation, where I dove right into the marketing function and learned the importance of doing the basics brilliantly. I had the opportunity to work on the launch of the 'Pro Pure' range, where I was exposed to the communications side of marketing, which involved creating a disruptive and aspirational campaign. I also worked on relaunching the Core range, which gave me invaluable insights into consumer-centric marketing and innovation.

Following my time at TRESemmé, I transitioned to the field rotation for 6 weeks, where I had the chance to work across all of Unilever’s categories. This time was short but sweet, and the highlight of my experience was putting my own innovation on the shelf.

My third rotation was in the newly established Performance and Operations (P&O) team, where I worked across skincare and deodorants. This rotation was the biggest learning curve during my time as a graduate at Unilever, but it was also the most rewarding role I had during the program. I focused on mastering skills related to data analysis, in-store execution, and storytelling. After nine months in this role, I transitioned to my final and current position as a Brand Manager for Weis and Paddlepop.

Throughout my journey at Unilever, I have learned and continue to learn a great deal. However, the most valuable aspect for me has been the development of my confidence. Comparing myself to who I was two years ago, I have grown so much. I used to be nervous to ask questions or present in front of my peers, but being surrounded by supportive individuals who uplift one another has made me a better marketer.

For anyone considering applying to the Unilever graduate program, I would highly recommend it. The company prioritizes learning and development, offering a wealth of opportunities for personal and professional growth. At Unilever, you'll have the chance to step up and prove yourself, regardless of your position as a graduate or an intern. Your contributions will be valued, and there is a culture of inclusivity where every opinion, no matter how small or big, is respected. If you're looking to be part of a dynamic team, working together towards a greater goal, there are few companies that can match the collaborative and fulfilling experience you'll find at Unilever.
