Our Graduate Program across Australia & New Zealand will encourage you to explore your potential and provide you with the tools and support to achieve your career aspirations and goals within an extensive development program. 

To be eligible for the 2023 IAG Graduate Program you must have: 

  • New Zealand/Australian permanent residency or citizenship
  • University Degree qualification or higher within the past 3 years (2020, 2021,2022)
  • Applicants must have a credit average (65%) or higher

What degrees/disciplines are we seeking?

In Technology we are seeking a wide range of backgrounds /disciplines that will broaden our thinking and ways of working. Tech, Sciences, Business, and Arts, are all welcome with the right mindset to learn and adapt in an ever-evolving tech environment.

What is exciting about each area?

  • Strategy & Architecture is the Technical thought leadership for decisions in Technology to drive and deliver the Group IT strategy. They are the first point of contact in delivering the architecture and technical design across all IAG
  • Insurance Platforms designs and engineers contemporary, unified general insurance platforms that are open architected, modularised, secure and scalable.
  • Enterprise Services designs and engineers, resilient, scalable technology that enables IAG employees to be ready for anything: always on, always secure experiences that foster trust and enable productivity at individual and enterprise levels. Provides network, telephony, compute and storage as a service, utilising on-premise and cloud providers.
  • Engineering, Assets & Practices drive contemporary engineering and delivery tooling practices. Building reusable integration and automation assets and developing technology professionalism as a market differentiator. Provides industry-leading, cloud-enabled customer service through it, as a test bed for the Enterprise.
  • Data, Risk & Resilience is a key assets of IAG and a vital enabler in increating world-leading customer experiences that are insight-driven and evidence-based. The team maintains all our data warehouses, fulfils key roles on data-dependent projects, and delivers insights back to the business that drives the realisation of our Group Strategy. You will have the opportunity to work in a broad and diverse role that spans both data and engineering, while also giving you exposure to the advanced analytics environment. 
  • As Strategic Planning and Partnering, we deliver key strategic programs (partnering, property, procurement) and build capability to enable us to continue to deliver our best to our customers and drive sustainable value for IAG. Strategic Planning & Partnering deliver enhanced customer experiences through leveraging global partnership skillsets &upliftingt productivity through the implementation programs, applications of process improvement, knowledge management and Robotics.
  • Customer Technology: digitising and reimagining how our brokers, partners, colleagues and customers interact, through technology and digital experiences every day
