Go with Tourism, we connect great talent with quality employers, to help build New Zealand's tourism workforce and help encourage Kiwis to think positively about Tourism & Hospitality careers.

Go with Tourism launched in 2019 and engages with students, job seekers, educators and employers to break down negative stereotypes about the industry and pique the interest of a new generation of workers.

At Go with Tourism, we don't just pay lip service to the importance of industry employers offering practical work experience placements to young people, we do it ourselves too! Each year, Go with Tourism take on interns at our Auckland HQ base, helping to provide opportunities to the next generation of industry talent, to develop their skills and experience, build a network of industry professional and open doors to future employment.

In the past, we've taken on interns for 3 months in Digital Marketing & Social Media, Event Production & Management and MarComms and we're keen to do the same in future, broadening the scope of placements we offer. We're also interested to explore the potential of remote worker placements, adding to our team of 4 remote workers based around the country and are happy to discuss placements of different lengths, too.

Our placements don't follow a cookie-cutter template and can be tailored to fit course requirements and work around study commitments. All we ask is that you're passionate about what you do, keen to learn and ready and able to work.

If you've got skills to offer in any of the technical or operational functions that keep a business running on a day-to-day basis and are interested to find out more about working for a company that is passionate about Tourism & Hospitality, please get in touch.

The perks of completing a placement with Go with Tourism include:

  • Working for a nationally and internationally recognised platform with links to Regional Councils, Regional Tourism Organisations, Government, Industry Associations, the Education sector and a range of other professional groups
  • Working for and with a business and Director that have been recognised in the TIA 2021 New Zealand Tourism Awards
  • Working with a team of experienced professionals that consistently exceed expectations and push boundaries
  • Meeting and learning from a hard-working, committed and friendly team that is passionate about championing the next generation of industry talent.

Basically, we're here to help you find a job you love.
