Your role

The Group Communications & Community team have a broad remit to support the achievement of Gallagher’s ambitious business goals through fantastic communications and build connections with the communities.

As a Communications Assistant, you will contribute to the primarily internal – and sometimes external – communications efforts. On a day-to-day basis, this would involve researching and writing stories for the intranet, collaborating with their Visual Media Specialist from time to time to create videos and other materials such as posters and banners, curating content for the internal email newsletters, uploading content to the external Group site and building new pages on the intranet, supporting the logistics and set up for their internal events, and so on.

About you

Are you a student in your second or third year of a communications (or related) degree? Are you looking for something that enables you to gain hands-on experience and hone your craft? Do you have solid copywriting skills, a keen eye for detail, the ability to work at pace, and a passion for helping others?

This role could suit someone in their second or third year of study and looking to gain experience at a large, complex, and global organisation. They are open to discussing how the 15 hours per week are structured.
