Great, modern facilities for an ancient building - the former Defence House. Assigned desks (most are adjustable standing with 2 screens), plentiful office and kitchen supplies. Each floor is identical so it is easy to know where anything is, but booking meeting rooms can get competitive. Tight physical and operational security practices for an important government agency. Close to the train station and Lambton Quay. Nothing over semi-formal unless you are a manager or (rarely) meeting ministers or officials - I’m slowly getting away with being more and more casual!
