By adding this one-year, advanced postgraduate qualification to your existing Bachelor of Education (Teaching) you will enhance your ability to make a difference to other people and improve your career outcomes. You will be able to explore any burning questions, developing your knowledge through research and study alongside expert academics who have years of experience in their field. Both the taught and research options will allow you to choose an area to explore more intensively, adding depth to your bachelors degree. You will also be given the opportunity to carry out a supervised research project in your area of interest.

With our BEd(Tchg)(Hons) you have the choice to either pursue an area you're passionate about individually, or become part of a research group (cohort) with a common theme, where you can personalise your research question to your area of interest.

You can choose to do the Research Portfolio option: 60-point supervised research portfolio and 60 points in courses; or the Taught Course option: 30-point research project and 90 points in courses.

Note: Completion of an approved 30 point research methods course is a prerequisite to enrolling in a research portfolio or research project.
