The programme emphasises applied research and practical experience. You will be able to conduct research relevant to your public health work, interests and experiences, building on the knowledge learned through your Postgraduate Diploma of Public Health.

Entry requirements

To gain entry to the Master of Public Health programme, you must have met one of the following entry pathways:

  • Have completed a Bachelor's degree in the health sciences; Students will complete the full 240 credits for Parts One and Two as specified in the schedule.
  • Have completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and have relevant professional experience; Students will complete at least 180 credits, including Parts one and Two as specified in the schedule.
  • Have completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health and achieved a minimum 'B' grade average. Students entering through this pathway must complete at least 60 credits from Part Two and select the balance of courses from the Part One schedule.
