If you have a qualification in another area, but wish to learn more about statistics, or move to a full statistics degree, the Graduate Diploma in Applied Statistics (GradDipApplStat) is a great stepping stone.
This qualification will give you an understanding and skills in the application of statistical methods, rather than an understanding of the underlying theory.
To enter the programme you will normally need a university degree or be accepted as having equivalent status to a university graduate.
You will also need to have an adequate mathematical and statistical background for the 200-level (second year of an undergraduate degree) courses you wish to study - normally the equivalent of 100-level courses in Mathematics and Statistics.
