More and more employers are seeking graduates with an understanding of business as well as the knowledge and skills of an arts discipline.

The Bachelor of Arts will make you a responsible, world-conscious citizen. You'll apply your knowledge and transferable skills to real-life scenarios. Prepare to become a free and original thinker who will lead Aotearoa New Zealand into the future and help solve some of the world's big problems.

The Bachelor of Business will teach you to think clearly, critically and analytically. You'll be able to conceptualise ideas and relate them to real-life business situations, and gain the skills to change a business for the better. You'll study at an internationally regarded business school, with accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Entry requirements

To enrol in the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Business programme you must qualify for undergraduate admission, either through Bursaries and Scholarship Examinations, NCEA Level 3, New Zealand University Entrance, Admission with Equivalent Status, Discretionary Entrance or Adult Admission. Click the Apply Now button to choose a specialisation. When you apply for your courses from 1 October, you will be required to select a specialisation for the other degree.

In order to transfer into a conjoint programme, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum B average in relevant prior study, and have passed all courses. Only Massey grades will be used for GPA calculation.
  • Must not have already completed the requirements of one of the component degrees (eg BA or BBus or BSc component).
  • Be expected to be able to complete the requirements of the conjoint programme within the timeframe.

Candidates who have studied at another tertiary institution should submit a verified academic transcript following their online enrolment application.

Courses from completed qualifications may not be cross credited into or between components of the conjoint programme.
