Career pathways

Standard diploma

Graduates with this broad foundation in science are prepared for careers in science and laboratory work in a variety of industries. You can also progress to a higher level science qualification.

Anaesthetic technology pathway

Diploma courses provide the theory supporting the practice of anaesthetic technology, during three years of clinical training based in the hospital.

Students must have a position as a trainee in a recognised training hospital to complete this diploma pathway, which leads to anaesthetic technician registration.
