The security of our product is fundamental to Xero. The security teams work with all areas of the business to ensure our systems are secure. We keep the good in and the bad out. We help developers produce secure products, defend Xero from cyber attacks, and do everything in between!
You'll have the opportunity to rotate within different security teams or spend one or more rotations in our core technical program. You'll be self-driven, enjoy collaborating with different teams across the business, and thrive on technical challenges. All you need is an interest in security, you don't need to have studied it.
Analyst: Security analysts focus on the less code-heavy aspects of cybersecurity. The role covers a range of duties including assessing Xero's security risks, helping Xero pass security audits, assisting in security education campaigns, monitoring Xero for cyber attacks, and being involved in security incidents by defending Xero as attacks occur. The analyst role values people with a keen eye for detail, naturally inquisitive skills, and a drive for upholding the safety of our customers.
