What we do

At Xero, our HR team is known as People Experience (PX). Providing an amazing experience for our people is at the heart of what we do. As Xero continues to grow at a rapid pace, we need to ensure the PX support we provide to the business remains #human and world class but is also scalable.

What you'll do

In the role of PX Graduate you will play a pivotal role in supporting the new PX Shared Services Model.

You will be involved in providing advice and administrative support, and assisting the PX team in the way we transform our systems, tools and processes to continue to help PX succeed as we scale for growth globally. Primarily aligned to NZ to start with, however this role is intended to expand to have a global element over time as the PX Shared Services team grows.

In addition to your primary role as a PX Graduate, we will provide you exposure to the wider PX team at Xero - having you lean in to support and learn from other PX teams such as Talent, OD, Change, and Remuneration & Benefits.

This is an excellent opportunity to start your career, and gain experience to the wide spectrum of PX!

What you'll bring

  • Proactive, 'can-do' attitude
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • A keen eye for detail and an inquisitive nature
  • Ability to juggle and multi-task under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, collaborative team focused on great outcomes for our internal customers
  • Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations
  • Up to date knowledge of HR legislation

What we need from you

  • Previous experience in an admin/service role
  • An appropriate HR qualification
  • Good understanding of Google applications (Gmail, Hangouts, Docs, Sheets, Drive)
  • Good understanding of MS Word and Excel
  • A passion for creating human-centered experiences that delight end users and that solve business problems

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

How to apply

Applications are open from Friday 25th September, and will close at 5pm, Friday 9th October.

You'll need to submit a copy of your CV, as well as answering a couple of questions.

We'll also need a copy of your academic transcript – we know it won't be complete until the end of the year, so just send us everything so far.

You need to be a citizen or permanent resident to apply. We'll need a copy of your passport and/or visa for a start date in Feb 2021.
