Many of the formal online trainings have been rather dry and boring, however, I do still feel they're necessary for new starters. The specific in person courses have been good. The on the job training mostly involved going out to site with an experienced person and going through the process. I found I was trusted to take charge of the work independently very quickly, which was nice.

Have had multiple formal trainings with the grad cohort, these are ok, sometimes can be boring but I have learnt some report writing skills from one of them. On the job training is good, a lot of seniors are willing to help and train.

Sometimes think their is to many training opportunities but they are happy for you not to attend them.

Formal training: sessions on best practices, and on the job learning getting feedback from senior co-worker.

Lots of time devoted to L+D and lots of opportunities for growth and development. Have learnt a great deal of technical knowledge in my time here!

Lots of experts in the field who we can start off with assisting in their projects. Very helpful and lots to learn from them. Graduate training programs feel that some of them can be completed online.

Good frequency of grad trainings that cover topics like; effective communication, report writing etc.

Most training were on the job training. There was a field and rock logging course that was a formal training which I found really useful before I went to site and actually do logging. Skills I have picked up: * Soil logging * Report writing * Managing my own workload and forecasting future workloads to help with me deciding what projects to take on * Leapfrog modelling
