What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
The pay is above average in the engineering society. For bonuses as I'm on the lower career level I'm not eligible for the company's bonus scheme. However, there are spot prizes that I qualify for.

A little bit low.

Pay is on par with other companies but there is no room for negotiation in this role, it's pretty much a flat rate that cannot be changed. I am aware of other companies that offered sign on bonuses and higher salaries. There are bonuses for when you get people to successfully land a role with the company by your referral. There is the opportunity to get bonuses from completing projects as well but that is not very common since the projects go for a long length of time and are very expensive.

Good. Grads get two pay rises each calendar year.Your manager approves it when you're doing good work. We also have random spot prizes for good work. Eg I was awarded $750 because a project manager from my company who I was working with thought I was doing good work, and told my manager

Pay is fair and bonuses are given upon nomination for deserving actions e.g., going above and beyond for a specific project.

Pay at the company is at an average market rate however would like to have more regular performance reviews and bonuses to increase my salary at a consistent rate
Graduate, Auckland
The pay was very low to begin with and rose in the first year, it is still below average for my city and with the cost of living so high it is difficult.
Graduate, Dunedin
Pay is quite average, there are some graduates getting paid less than what I thought would be the normal considering the work they are able to do.
Graduate, Dunedin
Standard pay with frequent reviews based on industry average
Graduate, Auckland
I am quite happy with my pay, I believe it is on the higher end of the scale relative to similar positions. There are also bonuses available but I am not completely sure on them and believe they are targeted towards more experienced employees.
