Introduction

Being an Advisor at the Ministry of Education is a fast-paced, dynamic role. You will be pulled into lots of different projects and tasks, and will benefit from developing strong writing skills, the ability to maintain good relationships with a variety of stakeholders, the ability to analyse things from multiple perspectives, and the ability to be flexible and adaptable through it all.

What you’ll learn

In this virtual experience you will learn how to respond to an enquiry from the public. Your tasks will include:

  • Identifying the type of enquiry and corresponding process
  • Gathering information and determining who to speak to within the Ministry
  • Drafting an email response
