Whether leading or contributing to product design, servicing or support, we deliver new value for IBM clients on a wide range of business use cases and industry challenges. We always maintain strong relationships with our clients and as a result, their needs and requirements are always central to the software solutions we develop and support.

Completing an Internship at IBM will give you practical, on-the-job experience, and great exposure to a global corporate environment. We have an Australia wide Intern Network, providing opportunities to get to know your peers, meet executives and participate in social events.

The best thing - this internship offers is the opportunity to work alongside leading security software development and test professionals who will help prepare you with the skills you require to hit the ground running in your chosen career path.

What you'll do - you will work in small to moderate size teams developing software solutions for enterprise-level real-world customers. You should expect to be writing code for both test and product development, as well as being involved in Agile development design and construction activities. You will become members of well-practised, tight-knit teams.

We are looking for skills in the following areas:

  • C/C++
  • Java/JavaScript
  • Some knowledge of software testing practices
  • Windows and/or Linux operating systems.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, as well as being a team player.
