GN Construction is a 100% NZ incorporated and managed business running for over a decade. We are the main contractor specialising in the delivery of construction projects across commercial, residential, aged care and industrial sectors. These projects typically range between $10m to $100m in value.

Each member of our Executive & Project Management Teams has come from within GN Construction through our training systems. We'll provide you a clear career pathway so you too can progress to leadership roles within our business.

We are a proud partner of Mates in Construction an organisation for workplace suicide prevention in the construction industry, a corporate supporter of the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust. We are a young team with a work hard, play hard family dynamic. We have quarterly social & charity events from participating in the Auckland marathon, Beach Clean Up, attending sporting events, celebrating project milestones & our annual Christmas party. 

Recruitment Process

  • Applications to be emailed with CV & a cover letter describing a bit about yourself.
  • A face to face 30 minute interview with People & Culture.
  • From there if successful a second interview with Construction Director and/or Managing Director.

We understand that at this stage of your life you have little or no experience, we want to get to know more about your passion & commitment. Do your research and have a broad idea of your career path.

Remuneration & Career Growth

Gross salary range for a Project Coordinator (who is still studying) between$42,000-$50,000. Once graduated you will be assessed on your performance whether you will be promoted.

At GN it is not based on the time it is based on your ability, work ethic and commitment. What you put in is what you get out at the end of the day. We offer early responsibility and you can grow quickly at GN Construction. Other compensation benefits is also on a case by case basis depending on your performance. We will work around your university timetable but we do require you to work when you are not at university, Saturday work is also required, generally 2 Saturday's a month.
