Pros & Cons

  • Working for Fujitsu has been extremely rewarding. Seeing my day-to-day tasks make a positive impact on our customers is a great feeling. The work environment and the people within are extremely welcoming; everyone has made my transition into Fujitsu a pleasant experience.
  • My manager is amazing. My graduate cohort is also a great bunch of people.
  • The company's culture is very positive. There are many opportunities within the company itself, and Fujitsu allows one to learn in different areas. I've seen people working for more than 15–20 years, so Fujitsu is all about Sustainability.
  • The daily learning opportunities and warm corporate and team support have been, in my opinion, the best aspects of working at Fujitsu during my graduate positions. As graduates, we also had the chance to organise volunteer or social events for networking and returning to our society together.
  • Great flexibility and culture—everyone is so friendly and willing to support me as a graduate. As soon as I started,
  • I currently don't have any negative mentions.
  • The company doesn't put many resources into hosting and celebrating people.
  • There are no snacks at the office.
  • Nothing about my current job really bothers me. I'm thankful for the opportunities that working for my current company has given me to develop my skills and learn new tasks.
  • Sometimes it can be quiet in the office, but when people are around, it is nice.

Corporate Social Responsibility
There have been quite a few interesting projects that have been run, like the Mini Woolies and our use of solar panels by a First Nations-founded company. I used some of my paid volunteer time to make birthday cards for kids that take part in Camp Quality. We did create an app in collaboration with Camp Quality that helps kids and their parents understand and navigate through living with cancer.

Training and onboarding at Fujitsu are very swift; it took me 2 weeks from start to finish to have all the right tools, applications, and knowledge to get started in the graduate position. Fujitsu offers a wide range of development programmes and certifications. I have currently been working on ITIL and SAFe certs.

Fujitsu has already achieved some of its internal sustainability goals by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing its renewable energy ratio. This topic area is stipulated across the whole business.
