From Four Square Houhora in the Far North, to New World Island Bay in the world’s coolest little capital, as the country's largest grocery retailer, we're proud to be a homegrown Co-op and feel privileged to serve New Zealand. We’re an unbeatable team of almost 25,000 awesome people and over the past 100 years we’ve built up a network of almost 350 PAK’n’SAVE’s, New World’s, Four Squares and Gilmours stores across the North Island

We’ve got big aspirations to become the worlds most customer driven retailer. To do that we need exceptionally talented, driven, curious and passionate future leaders.

      What we offer you

With almost 1,000 people, our Support Centre provides support to our store network across the North Island – we have every function imaginable at our awesome new offices in Māngere from Marketing to Merchandise, Retail and Property, IT, Data and Analytics, Commercial Operations to People & Capability, Supply Chain and our Foodstuffs Own Brands (like the household staple, Pams).

We’re big, we’re complex, we’re fun and we can provide you a cracker experience in the world of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods. Our paid 12-week internship program will give you a taste of the world of Foodies, connect you with meaningful work and our Here for NZ strategy, introduce you to some amazing industry leaders, site tours, lunch’n’learns and more.

      What you need

      • Curious and passionate with a willingness to get stuck in and the make the most of your time with us.
      • Comfortable with ambiguity and not knowing all the answers (but being all good putting your hand up when you don’t!)
      • Collaborative approach to working as part of a team and wider Co-op

Here’s a snapshot of areas that align to our opportunities this year:

      • Marketing (work on our amazing PAK'nSAVE, New World and Four Square brands)
      • IT/Techonolgy
      • Commerce/Business
      • Supply Chain
      • Property
      • Engineering
      • Strategy
      • Retail
      • Finance/Economics
      • Science
      • Food Technology

If your study area isn't listed above but you're still interested in working for Foodies, we'd still like to hear from you.

Experience awesome. Achieve Awesome. Be awesomely you.

      Applications close 8 August 2021.

      Detail junkies…here’s some more:

Our recruitment process involves a written application, video interview, and face-to-face interview with our People leaders. From there if successful we’ll check in with some references before finalising contracts and moving you through our fun and interactive digital onboarding experience to get you ready to start in November.

Not from Auckland? No worries! We partner with EasyRent who have your back and will help you find accommodation for the 3 months! They will also fill your room while you are in Auckland for the summer too!

We’re proud to have a focus on Diversity & Inclusion here at Foodies and welcome applications from you all regardless of who you are or what you do. We welcome courageous behaviour, encourage togetherness, inspire our people to be their best selves in our Foodies whānau, but most importantly we celebrate our people - our taonga, every day for being uniquely them.

The recruitment process involves a written application, video interview, and face-to-face interview. If you require the recruitment process to be adapted due to a disability, please feel free to contact us directly on support@talentsolutions.co.nz
