Career Prospects at FNZ

7.2
7.2 rating for Career Prospects, based on 23 reviews
Please tell us about promotion possibilities and fill us in on what it takes to move up the ranks.
Fairly clear structure for promotion and career progression opportunities, with clearly delineated hierarchies for role status in both testing and development roles. Don't know much about promotions/career progression personally though, haven't been at FNZ long enough for any promotions to have happened yet.

Opportunities are there, but I haven't had a chance yet to use them. Thus really cant comment

There seems to be a clear line of career progression for a dev here. But, being a grad, I've not experienced it yet.

Looks pretty good. Some very young people are in positions of responsibility. Promotions based on ability, not seniority.

If I could pass the first year of graduate program, I would be an intermediate tester or developer.

I think FNZ is really about outcome, if you can perform well and produce really great outcome with significant impact to the business and team, you will get more opportunities to get promotion. The career pathways was explained really well by the leads during the recruitment process.

Promotion opportunities are based off of work ethic and willingness to help the company grow rather than time spent in the company which means that it is all on you as to whether you get promoted or not which I like.

I'm still only a grad so haven't had a promotion or role change yet. However, going off what I see around me, people seem to get promoted so I guess it's good?

As it's a large company there's plenty of roles that pop up, and I've seen a few people around the office get promoted to a higher position. The main appeal for me though was the ability to switch around roles. As long as you produce good work then talk to your manager enough about it you can work towards switching projects, roles, or even moving to a different country. Management has been very supportive of people when they've brought up a goal they want to work towards and have been good at helping align them to achieve that goal
