Please tell us about promotion possibilities and fill us in on what it takes to move up the ranks.
I have not been presented with career and promotion opportunities but it is a regular occurrence among my colleagues so I have high hopes that there is something for me in the future, as well as what I'm currently working towards, there is definitely promotions coming in the future, which DXC has made me seen clearly.

People managers encourage you express any interest for further career goals. If you do this, and a suitable role is available, there is definitely opportunity for growth or promotion.

As a graduate at DXC, promotion opportunities aren't quite close yet as the first year is all about learning your role and building up your skills. However, throughout the first year there are many opportunities within the company to move around into different accounts and teams and from there you can really grow your capabilities in your field and really climb the ranks.

I've already gotten a salary increase, not overall sure of the career prospects. I know you can climb the career ladder working at DXC its just not entirely easy to where that will be/lead to since you can change role, switch accounts if you want. I've only been here for around 8 months so I don't know how the promotion process or performance reviews effect your career and how much you can climb in a certain time period.

Haven't been here long enough to know, but it seems to be good?

My role has allowed me to progress and grow in my career fast. I am only 18 months into my role and I already have my own government accounts and have been managing bids and owning opportunities for a while now. At the beginning I started off shadowing and attending meetings with my boss and mentors taking notes/actions. I then progressed into helping get new business through RFPs to then owning parts of the RFP to then managing then. I now facilitate my own customer meetings, take clients out for coffees etc. If my customer needs anything from DXC I am their point of contact. Currently I have small accounts; however, in future this will grow into larger accounts. In regards to remuneration, I am currently on salary; however, this will change to commission + salary when I become a more experienced seller.
