This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Restructuring and Turnaround (R&T) practice.
The R&T based team helps businesses (and people) that are distressed. Your role would include:
Business diagnostic reviews on underperforming businesses
Assessing options to inform stakeholders re strategic decisions
Accelerated M&A processes
Assisting liquidators and receivers with realising assets for the best price
Gathering information, investigating and identifying legal claims
Being an important part of the Liquidation, Receivership, and Administration formal appointment teams throughout the life of these assignments.

To be successful in this role you will likely have most of the following experience and personal attributes:
Strong people skills - the ability to build rapport quickly and strong empathy for people but with the confidence to say what has to be said
Very strong verbal and strong written communication skills Strong investigative skills, an inquisitive mind and an eye for detail
Able to see things for what they are and not what they seem to be or what you are told they are
Courage and a determination to achieve the right result and a strong sense of responsibility
Exceptional organisation and time management skills
Strong financial analysis skills and commercial acumen with a proven ability in interpreting and analysing key business drivers
Good understanding of P&Ls, balance sheet, and cash flows
A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Accounting, and Law (or substantially completed)
Some exposure within a professional services firm would be attractive. This may have been gained within Corporate Finance, Recovery, Transaction Services, Audit or Tax & Private. (This is not a pre-requisite).
