Seems good. Not much time and space to learn... but lots of learning on the job to compensate.

Every time you get promoted to a more senior level their are formal trainings that vary from 2 to 5 days of training and learning about your new role

Buddy structure is good - have a hierarchy to ask for help/training which is good.

The trainings held for graduates are extensive, and helpful. They focus on relevant things we will encounter on the job.

As I work in a small team it can be hard for seniors/ managers to find time to help me or to train me properly. I often find myself being given tasks that i have not been trained to do. I have made good progress though- if you can figure things out yourself and like problem solving then you will be fine. Our firm pays for CA study, law profs etc so if you're thinking about that you're in a good place!

Deloitte has their own internal tax skills program which earns credits towards CA. Additionally there are monthly tax update meetings where tax changes are discussed.

Every month, there is a company wide training session for junior staff to learn different things. These are informal sessions that allow people to come together to learn different topics. However, there are also more formal training programmes (e.g. seminars/certification) - these can be provided if people want to learn more. As long as you take the initiative and provide a case for it, management are more than happy to provide this opportunity.

So many trainings: I've learn te reo, automation, design, communication... the list is endless

Trainings are good, but it's the on the job learning that is very valuable.

Grad training session on specific topics, Team training sessions on relevant topics. Sat near someone of an appropriate level to give help. Tax skills

A whole range of internal and external programmes available. However, this is often deprioritised due to client or time commitments.

There are a lot of opportunities to attend a number of formal trainings that are lead by upper management that cover topics that we are interested in.

Training can be quite stressful as quizzes and graded exams are involved.
