There is purpose in my job and I have a lot of responsibility despite being a grad. Not much control over what I do, but luckily have only had good work to do.

Client meetings, analysing evidence for IT audits, internal team meetings

I know my responsibilities mean something to clients which brings me satisfaction.

I do a lot of admin tasks, but also little bits of different things- from coding transactions, to document review, to policy analysis.

I don't get much coaching

I am given work that challenges me to think and improve myself.

As an analyst, I pretty much help out wherever I am needed and do a variety of jobs to help the client meet its needs. On a day-to-day, I help create training materials, assess the functional and tech changes on the tech platform I work on, and help train others on how to use the tech.

I help the seniors in my team deliver value to clients through solving problems and addressing inefficiencies and pain points. Project management and presenting.

User experience

I go to different clients and participate in different audit engagements. Testing different subphases and reconciling accounts

I do a mix of tax compliance team admin but also some tax consulting.

Lots of content creation. Supporting more senior levels with work delivery.

After the first few weeks your days are likely to feel a lot more structured and you will have an abundant of opportunities to develop your skills.

Good balance between compliance and tax work

I am able to work on a mixture of compliance and VCFO work, involving both tax and accounting.
