Daimler Truck and Bus is looking for a dynamic and innovative university student to join the After Sales team as a Parts Business Analyst. Our 2021 IBL Program will expose you to real jobs, real experiences and real learning which will allow you to gain valuable workplace experience relevant to your chosen field of study. Our IBL 2021 Program

Daimler Truck and Bus supports Industry Based Learning year after year and continues to develop our program and students who participate. We have had many successful applicants carve their future careers in our industry after building strong career foundations through our IBL program. Based at our corporate Head Office in Mulgrave, and with an open mind towards today's remote working needs, we aim to provide you with the opportunity to begin your career with a prestigious global brand while being able to learn from and contribute to your team. We strive to offer fantastic on the job work experience combined with professional development opportunities to enable you to kick-start your future. The program will commence mid-January 2021. You will need to commit to full-time office hours until end of January 2022.

To qualify for this program, you must be an undergraduate student currently completing your penultimate year of study. As at January 2021, you must have a remaining 12 months or 2 semesters of study to complete your degree.

The role

This role aims to provide analysis, information, and support to the Daimler Truck & Bus Dealer network Parts Departments in respect but particularly in relation to Parts issues encountered by dealership staff. Timely response to all dealer queries, escalation and follow up of unresolved issues, maintenance of Parts systems and compilation and management of parts stock lists to support new model introductions into the dealer network are key responsibilities. This role requires a high degree of analysis and data management combined with excellent stakeholder management and customer care. An interest and knowledge in the heavy vehicle industry will be advantageous.

As the successful candidate, you will apply your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build positive business relationships as well as have a high attention to detail. You will enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Above all, as you will be working in a small team, you will be team oriented and have a flexible and adaptable attitude to the changing needs of the business.
We are looking for innovative and highly driven students with a desire to help shape our fast growing global business. You will possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills as well as a high attention to detail. You will enjoy working with others and will bring out of the box thinking and a genuine passion for our industry. You will have a strong interest in immersing yourself in this role in order to achieve greater insights into this business unit, and the Truck and Bus industry as a whole.
