How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Hours can vary depending on the matter that you're working on.

I been very satisfied with the hours worked and am ready for when they increase

I am at the very beginning of my grad year so my hours haven't been bad so far. I know there can be occasions where long hours are required, but the firm would never keep you in the office late unnecessarily.

ABL expect you to work hard when required but there is no expectation for people to sit in the office just to be seen. When you're on top of your work, they want you to go home and enjoy your life outside of work.

Working with my supervisor, who I think may be more flexible than others, has meant I can attend the office roughly 8.30 am to 6 pm most days, but otherwise work from home, which is what makes working with the firm sustainable for me.

Usually 9am - 6pm. Had very occasional intense periods, but this depends on the team you're in. Supervisors are encouraging to take time off/go home early after an intense task is complete.

Law Grads are currently covered by an industrial award so our normal hours are quite flexible. Partners are very understanding when you need to change work times to facilitate important life events (e.g. moving houses).

COVID-19 has made this difficult to answer but roughly 10-11 hours a day. Flexible when needed
Graduate, Sydney
Currently, given COVID-19 I am not able to accurately answer this question. At the moment, I am working approximately 7.6 hours per day.

At the moment, everyone is working from home because of the coronavirus. At ABL there is no expectation to stay back when you don't have work just for show. Of course, when there are deadlines, you are expected to be there, however, when work is more relaxed, there is no expectation to stay back long hours.

I generally work 9-6. It is a bit hard to judge right now as we are all working from home. I sometimes work later but they seem to be very flexible in that they don't really mind when you do the work, as long as you get it done.
Graduate, Melbourne
They expect me to be working from 9-5, averaging 38 hours per week, but if I have to take care of something they don't mind so long as I get my work done.

A lot of lawyers and other staff members at the firm have flexible working arrangements as they have young families or other responsibilities. The firm is very good at supporting this. So far as a grad my hours have been incredibly reasonable. I usually start work at 8.30 and typically finish by 6.30. Obviously, the general qualification is that when the team is busy you will be busy and can expect to work longer hours.
Graduate, Melbourne
Have been working from home due to COVID-19 so hours have been fine.

Flexible on when you start and take your lunch break, provided you get the work done.
